May 2004 Newsletter

Hey everyone!

Welcome to ChristineJoy.com.  Thanks for showing much love and support.  I can't believe it's already April.  Please come back every week or so for an updated newsletter.  There's always so much to share and so little time.
This past weekend we threw a birthday party for my roomy and we had an awesome time.  Lets just say the night was full of sake shots, sushi rolls, beautiful lingerie and the "lady lover" dessert......yuuummy ;)  On Sunday I headed to Sac for the 1st playoff game.  You know I love my Kings.  Jeff was so kind to grant me straight VIP access.  He sang the national anthem and rocked the crowd.  We're thinking about doing some type of collab in the near future so I'll keep ya'll posted on that. I can't wait.  I even got a nice pic w/ Mr. Bobby Jackson. He was surely flossin that lovely suit and was ever so friendly.  I'll have to post the pic up soon so you can check it out.
It's been mad busy these days but life has been lovely.  I'm off to my old alma mater, Indiana University, for an exciting performance at the annual Taste of Asia celebration.  I'm excited to see all the old college homeys.  It's always nice to catch up w/ friends.  A special shot out to the KGD girls for inviting me.
These days I'm still working hard to finish up the EP.  It'll be hot for sure.  I feel like I've grown so much in so many ways.  Music continues to inspire everything I do.  I'm just hyped and determined to keep working hard and pursuing what I love most.  I also have a few musical projects I'm working on in these next few months.  Staying at the grind is what I do best.
Just to let ya'll know..... Usher really broke it down on his latest release of Confessions.  He always seems to amaze me with his vocal skills and natural ability to deliver a song and make you feel it.  So if you haven't checked it out make sure to grab a copy cuz it's dope.
Well it's time to get back to rehearsing.....thanks for listening.  Enjoy the rest of the week.  I'll write back when I get back from Indiana.  I love you
guys!!

Good Night,
CJ
